The 2021 Kia Sorento: Price and Specs

Available in 6 models, this Kia SUV introduces an updated and modern look for 2021. Its elegant and sporty lines are enhanced by larger LED headlights compared to last year’s model, as well as heated exterior mirrors with integrated turn signals, a sunroof and 17- to 20-inch wheels, depending on the version you choose.

Depending on the model, you'll have the choice of one of two engines: a 2.5-L 4-cylinder engine with 191 horsepower, or a 2.5 L turbocharged 4-cylinder engine with 281 horsepower. Note that all versions of the 2021 Kia Sorento are equipped with an 8-speed automatic transmission as well as a high-performance all-wheel drive system. Finally, the towing capacity of the 2021 Sorento ranges from 2 800 to 3 500 pounds, depending on the engine under the hood.

A more fuel-efficient version is currently in the works, it’s the 2021 Kia Sorento Hybrid. However, it is still unclear when it will hit the market.

The 2021 Sorento can comfortably seat 6 passengers, while two entry-level models bump that number to 7 passengers. Its spacious cabin now offers more room behind the 3rd row seats, as well as more than 2,100 L of total cargo space when the 2nd and 3rd rows are folded, a notable improvement over last year’s model.
