Exterior Design and Aerodynamics

We now easily recognize the famous “Tiger Nose” radiator grille, which has definitely evolved over the years but still remains the Kia trademark. As for performance, the Kia EV9 offers 3 different choices in terms of power: 201 or 215 horsepower when equipped with a single electric motor –and with a range estimated to 480 kilometers-, or you could also opt for a version equipped with 2 electric motors for a total of 379 horsepower –and with a slightly lesser range estimated to 400 kilometers.

The EV9 will be equipped with a 99.8 kWh battery (or 76,1 kWh for the Light RWD trim) and offer a maximum fast charging power of 230 kW, allowing you to charge from 10 to 80 % in only 25 minutes.

Finally, just like the Telluride, the Kia EV9 has a maximum towing capacity of 5,000 pounds.

Despite a minimalist interior, you will be spoiled with comfort and added technologies; once the EV9 hits the market, it surely won’t have anything to envy from the competition!

Moreover, Kia wishes to boost the amount of durable materials present on all new Kia models like corn, sugar cane and natural oils, among others.

The very large dashboard contains two 12.3- inch touch screens that will allow you to quickly control several different functions, making all commands easy to access given that everything is found in the same place.

Offering a choice between a 6- or 7- passenger configuration, the Kia SUV interior was well developed and created in part by taking into account the opinion and suggestions of the public, in regard to amenities and ergonomics.
